ACT Optical is a mixed billing practice. We bulk bill eligible eye examinations under Medicare.
Meet our optometrist
Lauren Henderson – Optometrist
Lauren graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2020 with a Distinction in the Master of Optometry program. She began her career in Maryborough, Queensland, where she worked for three years before relocating to Canberra with her husband in 2023.
Caring and attentive, Lauren takes the time to understand each patient’s needs. She loves that optometry allows her to meet and connect with people from all walks of life. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys cooking, baking, and knitting.
